MLB World Series Prop Bets
As the Major League Baseball season edges closer and closer to starting many of the online sportsbooks such as PokerStars.com have already listed there World Series prop bet odds. A prop bet is betting on the future results of a sporting event and in this case the prop bet is picking who will win the World Series this coming season. Prop bets are very difficult to win because a lot of luck is involved in picking who will win the World Series before the season even begins. With it being so difficult to win though, an upside to this is that the odds are amazing if you do get lucky and win. The odds alone make it worth betting $50 on who you think will win the World Series because if it happens then you’ll be getting a big payday.

As most of you should remember the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series last year and this year there are some good looking teams to dethrone the past champions. The two teams who I feel have done the most work this off-season are the Mets and Yankees and they will definitely be teams to watch for this year. These two teams aren’t paying that much to win the World Series compared to the other teams but at +350 and +800 both teams are paying fairly good.
There isn’t much strategy you can use other then looking at how well the teams traded in the mlb betting off-season because when making this bet you don’t’ even get to watch any games prior to wagering. One strategy people use it to bet on the team they follow and hope they win the World Series which is fine as it makes following the team much more exciting throughout the year. I suggest looking at the teams with +1000 or less odds though and choosing your favourite team out of that bunch when making your prop bet. I’ve already laid $50 on the Mets, Yankees and Blue Jays because I’m from Toronto. Baseball Betting on a couple teams is fine on prop bets because they pay so much that you’ll make money if one of the teams you pick wins the World Series.
